Neck Plate Warrior

The Neck Plate Warrior is a late gorget – an oval plate of armour designed to sit around the neck and give additional protection to the vitals of neck, throat and thorax. The neck plate has an elongated front piece and a shorter back piece, which are fitted together and can be fastened to a breast- and back plate with top-grain leather straps. The neck plate also provides fastenings for additional shoulder armour. The Neck Plate Warrior is made from mild steel with rolled edges. At the outer rim it is decorated with shiny metal rivets. Though designed to go with the other ‘Warrior’ armours it is fully interchangeable with other Epic Armoury armours allowing the wearer full freedom to customize character looks.¶Made from 1mm thick mild steelRolled edges with no sharp edgesStraps and fittings made from top-grain leatherAdjustable ductile steel flanks for closer body-fitHand made, welded pieces for maximal durabilityPolished steel surfaces¶Keep armour pieces dry and apply a thin layer of oil during storage to avoid rust. Rub with fine steel wool to remove patches and wipe with oil if rust appears. All metal armours contain leather parts, which need regular care with leather-care products to keep the leather from drying out.
