The medieval long ring belt is made of Biothane®. Biothane® is a nylon strap that is coated with a synthetic material.

 

The surface is matt and has a leather structure. In terms of feel, Biothane® is very similar to real leather.

 

Straps made of Biothane® are practically indestructible, they do not absorb water, do not mould and are light resistant.

 

The strap has a breaking strength of approx. 650kg(!) in this width.
